Have you joined the Glendale Agricultural Society?Membership is open to anyone and your support will ensure the continuation of an Agricultural Show at Wooler.
Privileges of being a member of the Society are listed below:
- Free admission to the Annual Glendale Show at Wooler.
- Forward Car Parking Pass (please see below).
- Free access to Members Marquee, with Bar, tea & coffee and toilet facilities at the Show.
- To exhibit in Livestock & Equine Classes at reduced rates at the Show.
- To attend and vote at General Meetings of the Society.
- To attend Member events. Such as curling and quiz nights.
2010 Membership Application Form
Ringside Parking Tickets are sold subject to the following conditions:
- Ringside Parking Tickets are only available to Members of the Society.
- All Ringside Parking Tickets must be bought in advance of the Show. Only a limited number are available and they are sold on a first come, first served basis.
- Last entry to the Ringside Car Park is 10am and no exceptions can be made.
- No exit from the Ringside Car Park until 4pm.
- No overnight parking prior to the Show.
Society Tie The images on our first ever Society tie have been designed and hand drawn by the children of 4 first schools in Northumberland specifically for Glendale Agricultural Society:
1. Chatton C of E Aided First School
2. St. Michael's C of E First School, Alnwick
3. Alnwick South First School
4. Shanklea First School, Cramlington
The 100% silk handmade ties cost £15 each + £1.50 p&p and proceeds go to fund future Children's Countryside Days held by the Society.
